hectic-ness!!!!!!!!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Feeling soo stressed because EVERYTHING seems to be going so fast!!! There is just NOT enough time in the day for me to do anything right now, at least that's how it feels!!! So much is going on right now between all the planning and preparing for our baby shower, then my blogs (which I have been seriously lacking on due to just not having enough time in my days), then having like no time with my family and generally now when I do actualy have some time with them, I can't really enjoy it because I am too busy worrying about other things or im just too tired or too stressed to sit back and enjoy things....
I imagine things will calm down after the baby shower, I just want to make sure it's something special for all of us involved!!!! For me, it's more of a family thing and I want everyone to have a great time, and a special day!!! I'm sure that ultimately It will be fine, I just worry about everything!!! LOL
ahhhhhh I laughed, it feels like I haven't done that too much lately!!! ;) I'm already starting to feel better, I guess I just needed to vent a lil....
On a positive note, everything is going great with the pregnancy-I'm almost 26 weeks along now, and I'm getting bigger and I love it!!! I can't believe how fast time has gone by, and that in a few more months I'll be meeting my second son!!!!! I'm totally excited, and anxious :D
Another great thing is I got a Blackberry cell phone and I love it!!! It's great!
Nickolas is doing good, his attitude and behaviour lately has been a lil out of sorts, but it's much better now. He is such a great kid, I am so blessed to have him :)

Anyways i gotta get back into reality for now, I got lots and lots to do before tomorrow(friday)/ Saturday!!!!!!

What a faboulous day!!!

So I woke up this morning to find that I won a contest from Mashala Baby Organics !!!
This is my 2nd contest win, so I am really excited!!! :D Anywho, I won an Organic Start baby Massage Oils Set , which is going to be GREAT to use once lil Jaicyn is born :) !!!
The BEST part of my contest win, is the fact that I came up with a brilliant idea, and I acted on it!!
I thought to myself, "this would be a PERFECT giveaway, a great start to doing my own contests/giveaways!!" Now, of course I really didn't want to have to give away the set I won, so I thought I'd ask the folks at Mashala if they would kindly take a look at my Contest blog and maybe donate an extra Oils Set, or something/anything I could giveaway to a lucky someone, and they said "YES"!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D
This is a HUGE thing for me as I am not the type to just ask people let alone, companies for things--in fact, I'm quite the shy person--BUT something today jsut gave me the faith and courage to just simply ASK. The worst that was going to happen was that they said "no" and I had kept telling myself that.
SOOOOOOOO this means now that I will have my very own 1st Giveaway -- Sooner than I ever imagined, AND my dream of being able to actually HAVE a contest/giveaway is starting to take flight!! :)
And these generous people are SOOOOOOOO nice that they even threw in not one, but TWO of their Infant Massage Door Pillows (one for me to keep, and one for the lucky winner!!)

I know, eh?? WHAT A GREAT DAY!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Change Happens

Well instead of having my contest blogging stuff mixed with my personal stories, I decided it was best to separate the two and creat a new blog solely for contests and freebies available in Canada/for Canadians... You can find my Canadian Contest blog right here.

So now this will be a blog just for me and my stories :D

As we get older, we become wiser (well MOST of us anyways!! lol). As I get older, I realize that change is inevitable, happens whether we like it to or not, and is something you might as well get used to. I remember being a young child, and HATING anything that had to do with change... but now, I find myself usually embracing it and trying to get the best out of it.
What happened?? Well I imagine that I have finally accepted that it is what it is.

Then I look at my 6 year old son who is going through alot of changes in his life (new house, new school, new brother coming into his life) and I never see him having any problems adjusting to the changes all around him...It truly amazes me that unlike his mommy, he has no problems with change. It's definately a good thing, and I'm happy that he adjusts so well into situations.
Perfect example, he just started grade 1 at a new school where he knew nobody...my boy walked right into that school looking forward to whatever was about to come his way.. and ultimately, he succeeded with flying colours!! He came out that first day with a whole classroom of new friends and was happier than I thought he would be.

Anyways gotta finish cooking and doing some laundry!!!!
